Genius Shows Off New Toys at Computex 2012

At this year's COMPUTEX, Genius brought out their entire range of products, which include smartphone and tablet accessories, gaming peripherals, headphones, mouse and keyboards and even their very own imaging devices such as digital cameras and camcorders.

But while all the selection of products are impressive, what Genius wanted to truly highlight are their latest gaming series along with two star products. Below are just some of the things they showed us when we paid a visit to their booth.

This advanced tablet by Genius was tailor-made for designers, artists and professionals. The PenSketch M912's large 9" x 12" working area makes it super comfortable to use. Even the stylus for this tablet is impressive as it is battery-free and features two buttons and 2048-level pressure sensitivity. This enables designers to achieve all kinds of shapes and thickness easily. The PenSketch M912 also comes with a battery-free scroll wheel mouse that is perfect for users who are more inclined to a mouse compared to a stylus. Finally, it even comes bundled with the PenDrawer software or optional Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Corel Painter 4 Essentials software.

Designers equipped with the PenSketch M912 will be able to create beautiful works of art easily and comfortably

Ideal for business, travel and education, the Ring Presenter is the world's very first presentation device of its kind. It gives users complete control over their presentation slides, web pages and documents and the very tip of their fingertips literally. It also has a built-in laser pointer and doubles as a mouse. For those who want something that is stylish, the Ring Presenter even comes in seven different colors.

Genius' newest product range is the GX Gaming Series, which is made up of a full range of professional PC gaming peripherals which include keyboards, mice, mousepads, speakers, headphones and backpacks. These are designed for any genre of games and is perfect for gamers who want devices that have a slew of features but don't cost a bomb.

The CAVIMANUS is the GX Series' first professional 7.1-channel gaming headset. Besides the virtual 7.1-channel system, the 40mm neodymium driver units are the key to this remarkable headset. One of the more interesting features is that these headphones can also be configured to vibrate, which makes gaming a little more exciting. As for the SW-G2.1 3000, these speakers feature metal cones that produce vivid and vibrant middle and high sounds in the curvaceous satellite speakers. The 6.5-inch driver unit in the subwoofer also produces heavy bass in frequencies as low as 3.5Hz.

The Maurus gaming mouse is suitable for the first-person shooter fan as it can be customized to reach impressive gaming performance to give gamers that extra edge. This gaming mouse also has an overclockable SCGi engine for a DPI range from 450 to 3500. To compliment the Maurus, Genius also has a few different mousepads, including the GX-Speed Darklight Edition that is made out of sleek cloth weave and designed for precise and fast tracking. And of course a gamer's arsenal wouldn't be complete without a good keyboard and the Imperator Pro is just what is needed. This backlit gaming keyboard has sixteen million RGB colors for the backlight, which can be further customized. For fast action, it has six macro keys on the side and can be assigned up to eighteen macros.
