Galaxy Note8 pre-orders hit record high in the U.S and South Korea

Pre-orders for the Galaxy Note8 broke all previous records in the U.S and South Korea.

The Galaxy Note8 is the most expensive Samsung phone to date, but the price tag did not affect the demand for it. In fact, pre-orders hit record high in the U.S and South Korea.

Samsung announced that more people in the U.S have purchased the Galaxy Note8 than previous Note devices during the same time period. In South Korea, pre-orders for the Galaxy Note8 reached 395,000 units on the first day. In comparison, the Galaxy Note7 managed to garner 380,000 pre-orders over a 13-day period. 

The Galaxy Note8 (64GB) will be available for purchase in Singapore from 15 September at the retail price of S$1,398. It comes in three colors which are midnight black, maple gold and orchid gray. Do check out our review of the Galaxy Note8 to find out more!
