Four New PIXMA Printers Join Canon's AIO Line-Up
At CES this week, Canon launched four new PIXMA Office AIO printers primarily designed with features to increase productivity and overall efficiency in the home office.
Two of the AIO printers, Canon PIXMA MX922 and MX522 Wireless Office AIO, comes with wireless connectivity and are compatible with Google Cloud Print. This simply means that images and documents can be printed directly from Gmail and Google Docs through mobile devices and Google Chrome on Mac, Windows and Chrome supported devices. These two models are compatible with Canon Easy-PhotoPrint (Canon EPP), a free application which prints photos and scan documents wirelessly via Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The two models also feature PictBridge (LAN and Wireless LAN).
Each of the new printer models also works with Evernote which allows documents to be easily scanned into your Evernote account via wireless or USB connection.
The top-of-the-line PIXMA MX922 printer comes with two front cassette trays that allows users to load two media types at the same time, giving users the ease and flexibility to print to either media. The larger cassette tray holds up to 250 sheets of letter or legal-sized paper, while the other can hold up to 20 sheets of 4 x 6-inch or 10 sheets of 5 x 7-inch photo paper. For large-volume jobs, the PIXMA MX922 printer has a 35-page Automatic Duplex Document Feeder. The PIXMA MX922 also allows the use of optional high-yield black cartridges to further improve productivity.
The mid-range PIXMA MX522 and MX452 Wireless Office AIO printers are more affordable. Both models feature the FastFront loading functionality so users can load paper and ink cartridges quickly without having to stand the printer lid upright. They also come with a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder.
