Florida man sues Samsung after his Galaxy Note7 exploded in his pocket

Samsung is being sued by a Florida man after his Galaxy Note7 exploded in his front pants pocket.

According to CNBC, the lawsuit could be the first in the U.S by a Samsung Galaxy Note7 user.  The Florida man claimed that the Galaxy Note7 caused severe burns on his right leg. His lawyer added that it is "a deep second-degree burn, roughly the size of the phone". The lawsuit includes unspecified damages for medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering, and other injuries. 

To date, U.S regulators said that there were over 92 incidents of the batteries which include 26 reports of burn and 55 reports of property damage. Samsung has shared information on what went wrong with the battery in its Galaxy Note7 and continue to urge customers to exchange their devices as soon as possible.
