The idea was born by Steinar Bredesen after the terror in Oslo this summer with the increasing number of assaults on young females in the usually quiet town of Oslo. After weeks of research, it was identified that this problem is not just isolated to Norway but it is a global epidemic when it comes to personal safety especially with females and teens.
By downloading the app, mobile users all over the world can alert their closest friends or relatives by SMS and Facebook with their GPS location by the click of a button. The app also supports faking incoming calls, calling emergency numbers and snapping ''witness'' photos directly to the user's Facebook profile. With the correct GPS-location, day, date and time directly published on the photo.
