Finally! There are five new ways to respond to Facebook posts
More than five months after announcing that the company was testing an alternative to the "Like" button, Facebook today launched Reactions.
Touted as an extension of the Like button, Reactions allow you to express your feelings towards posts in the News Feed. The six new Reactions are Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry. To add a Reaction, hold down the Like button on mobile or hover over the Like button on desktop to see the reaction image options and tap on your preferred one.
Facebook - "We have been testing Reactions in a few markets since last year, and have received positive feedback so far. Today, we’re excited to offer it to everyone who uses Facebook around the world. We will continue learning and listening to feedback to make sure we have a set of reactions that will be useful for everyone. We hope you enjoy the new Reactions!
While Facebook states that Reactions are now available globally, we've yet to see them on our mobile app and desktop.
