Facebook Puts Pressure on Staff to Switch from iOS to Android

With Facebook putting pressure on its employees to switch from iOS to Android instead, users might be able to see some major improvements in its Facebook app. According to TechCrunch, the popular social networking group has now "plastered posters across its headquarters", egging on employees to "switch today".

BGR - "A Facebook spokesperson confirmed the company had “more iPhones deployed” than Android handsets, however after it “created more awareness that Android devices are available,” there are now “plenty of people here carrying around both devices, and not just engineers and not just mobile people.""

All in all, this move will help better their presence in a market increasingly saturated by Android devices. In any case, the company's smartphones come with an exclusive beta-version of Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps that come featured with a "rage shake" bug reporting feature, which on a violent shake, will inform software engineers when there's a bug in the software.
