Ergoworks Introduces Ergonomic 1,200dpi Contour Mouse

Ergoworks, a Singapore brand specializing in total back-care solutions and ergonomic furniture, has announced its Contour Mouse that helps reduce fatigue and chances of getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

An ergonomically sculpted mouse, the Contour Mouse is built to support your hand comfortably, regardless of size. Because of the pronounced arch on the mouse's top, your hand and wrist maintains a straight alignment, while your wrist is slightly elevated from your desk. Elongated buttons lets you use the second knuckle of your finger to click, in turn decreasing the need to flex your fingers. Your thumb will automatically rest against the side of the mouse, where both the scroll wheel and a rocker switch is located.

With a slight pronation angle of 17 degrees, the neutral tilt of the Contour Mouse helps to relieve pressure on your forearm, while minimizing the grip force. The Plug and Play mouse also comes with the option of having a frequent command, which helps you execute high-click-intensive tasks such as CAD/CAM and design applications more efficiently.

The 1,200dpi mouse comes in four sizes. To find a size ideal for you, rest your hand entirely upon the Contour Mouse. The mouse should be supporting your full palm from underneath. Then, measure the length from the tip of the middle finger, to the first crease of the wrist.

Length (in inches) Your Size
Under 7.75 S
6.75 ~ 7.5 M
7.5 ~ 8.25 L
8.25 and above XL

Priced at S$99, the Contour Mouse is now available at Ergoworks showrooms at Marina Square, Centrepoint, as well as Causeway Point.
