E-books are quickly catching on in the U.S, with a new study showing that e-book sales in 2011 have more than doubled from the previous year. Hopefully, this trend will signal to publishers that they need to get into e-books sooner than ever. And release their new books in e-book format earlier rather than just hardcovers.
Electronista - E-book sales have better than doubled year-to-year, the Association of American Publishers said. A new study put out on Thursday saw e-book sales surge 115 percent in January to produce $69.9 million in revenue versus just a year ago.
