DTS Releases New DTS Play-Fi Wireless Streaming Software for Windows PC

Wireless audio is fast becoming the norm. DTS has introduced the Play-Fi driver which is a downloadable Windows app that allows for streaming of content from the PC to any DTS Play-Fi enabled home audio system over the wireless network. This will allow for lossless streaming of data allowing for high quality playback.

Additionally, DTS Play-Fi is also adding internet radio streaming services for OEMs to exploit and leverage. Phorus, a subsidiary of DTS, is already providing radio services utilizing the Play-Fi technology to showcase how the software can be implemented to expand the functionality of audio products.

The DTS Play-Fi app for the Windows OS comes a few months after the release of Play-Fi for Android.
