According to sources Android Authority spoke with, Dell will be showcasing Ophelia on regular computer displays as well as 55-inch ones next week in Los Angeles, United States during the international Citrix Synergy conference. The device offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and allows the user to access Wyse PocketCloud, a smart cloud solution that can allow users to access their desktop from mobile devices. In the future, the user may possibly be able to download applications, movies or TV shows directly from Google’s Play store, in addition to enjoying streamed content from Hulu and Netflix.

Following which, the first units will begin shipping in July to developers who have registered their interest to write Android applications for Ophelia. The project will only be available to a wider audience in August through various cable companies or telecommunication service providers, whom may want to include Ophelia in their offers. After that, Dell will also sell the Android-based device on their official website. This nifty device will definitely make an ideal alternative to Windows To Go, which is Microsoft's solution that allows Windows 8 Enterprise OS to boot and run from portable storage devices such as USB flash drives and external HDDs.
