Dell Hints of More Windows Phone 7 Device and Android 3.0 Tablets

With just one Android device (Dell Streak) and a Windows Phone 7 (Dell Venue Pro) under its belt, Dell is still keeping a low profile in the mobile space. Not for long though, according to Michael Dell when he spoke to BBC reporter Tim Weber about Dell's upcoming plans for its mobile devices. Dell has been quoted to have more Windows Phone 7 devices in the pipeline, according to an earlier tweet by Tim Weber.

Electronista - BBC reporter Tim Weber has just revealed through a tweet that Dell plans on releasing more Windows Phone 7-powered handsets. The news came from Michael Dell himself, who was carrying a WP7 and Android phone and said 'several' new Windows Phone 7 smartphones are coming.

Further to that, the Android arena isn't getting neglected, with an upcoming tablet running Google's tablet optimized OS, Honeycomb, in the works. Dell declined to comment on their products roadmap when approached. No dates have been confirmed as of now, but we'll be following up with more news as it arrives. Meanwhile, see what Michael Dell has to say about the company's lineup over here.
