Dell Extends Collaboration with Google, Develops Dell Chromebox for Videoconferencing

Dell has further partnered with Google to develop the Dell Chromebox for meetings, an integrated solution designed to help geographically dispersed teams conduct meetings from a large variety of devices, from nearly anywhere, and collaborate 'face-to-face' in a virtual environment.

Dell Chromebox for meetings will include a HD camera, a combined microphone and speaker unit, and a remote control to enable users to quickly connect to a display in a conference room, and recreate the 'in room' meeting experience regardless of all participants’ location.

Dell has recently released its Dell Chromebook 11 for Education, and its range of Dell Venue Android tablets. Earlier this week, we also announced Dell's premiere of its Android-based Dell Wyse Cloud Connect controlled and fully managed cloud access device for Enterprises.
