Creative’s T series of wireless speaker systems, as far as we know, are quite popular in the market because they usually strike a good balance between affordability and performance. Hot off the labs this time round is the new T50 Wireless Signature Series 2.0 speaker system, which the company says draws inspiration from the widely acclaimed GigaWorks T40 speaker system.

Besides supporting Bluetooth stereo audio streaming, NFC for tap and play connectivity, and the aptX audio codec, the Creative T50 Wireless Signature Series 2.0 implements a 3-driver MTM (which stands for midrange-tweeter-midrange) system, with each speaker tower featuring silk dome tweeters for smooth, non-fatigue highs, and woven glass fiber drivers for improved flex to deliver warm, full bodied midrange sounds. These are supplemented by Creative’s own BasXport technology for lower midrange sounds and high output bass, without the need of a separate subwoofer.

For non-Bluetooth, analog devices, the T50 can still be used, thanks to a built-in 3.5mm line-in jack. And if you need some private listening time, it also sports a dedicated headphone jack.

Priced at S$249, the Creative T50 Wireless Signature Series 2.0 speaker system is now available on the Creative online store.
