This could be the final design of the iPhone 8
The iPhone's leak season is in full swing as BGR claimed to have obtained exclusive photos of the iPhone 8 with its final design.
According to BGR, the iPhone 8 mockup is based on actual finalized schematics leaked from factories which are manufacturing the phones. The publication made several observations which are mainly in line with many rumors:
- 2.5D glass panels on the front and back with slight curves at the edges
- a polished stainless steel frame
- a camera bump on the rear which is positioned vertically
- no cutout for the Touch ID on the front and back
It remains to be seen if Apple has successfully tackled the technical issues of having an embedded fingerprint sensor within the display although it has several patents for this particular feature. Apple is rumored to be launching three iPhone models this year with the iPhone 8 as the premium model and the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus as incremental updates.
