Corsair Introduces AX1500i Digital ATX PSU & Hydro Series H105 Liquid CPU Cooler

In addition to announcing its Raptor gaming keyboard and mouse, along with Graphite full-tower and Mini-ITX Obsidian chassis, Corsair has also introduced cooling solutions such as AX1500i, a DSP-based PC power supply featuring Corsair Link Monitoring and Customization, as well as its Hydro Series H105 Liquid CPU Cooler.

AX1500i Digital ATX Power Supply

Delivering 1,500W of power with Titanium energy efficiency levels of up to 94%, the AX1500i customizable power supply is ideal for extreme PC enthusiasts. The DSP-controlled circuitry of the PSU allows it to consistently deliver stable voltages along with low ripple and noise. Power reserves combined with an array of cabling options enable the AX1500i to power heavily overclocked PC systems with up to four graphics cards in NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFireX configurations with headroom to spare.

With a streamlined component count and circuit-board layout made possible by the DSP-based design, the PSU operates in silent Zero RPM Fan Mode until the load reaches 450W. A custom-designed fluid dynamic bearing 140mm fan, specifically designed for low-noise operation, allows the PSU to run quietly even when running at full 1,500W power output. Incorporating the Corsair Link technology, enthusiasts can monitor temperature, current draw, and power efficiency, all in real-time, as well as the ability to adjust the speed of the internal 140mm fan.

Users can set overcurrent protection points on a per-rail basis in the default multi-rail +12V configuration or simply switch to single+ 12V rail mode. Backed by a seven-year warranty, the AX1500i Digital ATX Power Supply will be available starting Q2 2014 for US$449.99.

Hydro Series H105 Liquid CPU Cooler

Corsair's first Hydro Series cooler to be equipped with a 38mm-thick 240mm radiator comes fitted with a pair of high-performance SP120L PWM 120mm fans designed to balance static pressure and noise levels. The low-profile CPU cooling block also includes an LED backlit logo and replaceable color ring, allowing PC enthusiasts to co-ordinate their CPU cooler to match their other system components.

Connecting the cooling block and 38mm-deep 240mm radiator are a pair of sealed and kink-resistant rubber tubes, with a high-quality on-board ceramic-bearing pump providing reliable flow and heat transfer away from the CPU. As with all Hydro Series CPU coolers, the H105 requires no maintenance or filling.

Supporting a wide range of Intel and AMD CPU sockets, the cpu cooler retains the 240mm radiator mount, so it's compatible with most cases in the current market. Covered by a five-year warranty, the H105 is available immediately for US$119.99.
