Two months after its global announcement, the Motorola Moto G (8GB) is finally making its way to Singapore on January 16 with a retail price of S$318.

Brightstar, the local distributor for the smartphone, informed HardwareZone that it is working to bring the Moto G (8GB) as soon as possible although the tentative launch date is set on January 16. At launch, the Flip Shell will also be available but its pricing is yet to be confirmed.

As a quick recap, the Moto G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It is slated for an update to Android 4.4 KitKat.

It also comes with a 4.5-inch 720p display, 8GB internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera and dual SIM card slots. Unfortunately, the Moto G does not support 4G LTE connectivity and has no microSD card slot.
