Component makers in Taiwan claim the Galaxy Note8 would be available in Sep

Following reports by Korean publications about the Galaxy Note8 launch in late August, DigiTimes claims that it has information suggesting an availability of the device in September.

Citing information from upstream component suppliers in Taiwan, DigiTimes reports that the earliest availability of the Galaxy Note8 would be in September. It added that the recent launch of the Galaxy Note FE was a test of the market reaction to the Galaxy Note lineup after the devastating Note7 saga last year. Apparently, positive feedback about the launch of the Galaxy Note FE and "persistent market expectations" have given Samsung the confidence to unveil the Galaxy Note 8.

Evan Bass, also known as @evleaks, tweeted in late June that the Galaxy Note8 would be launched in the second half of September with a price tag of €999 (~S$1,550). The Galaxy Note8 is expected to sport a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras (12MP sensor each with an independent OIS for the lens), a rear fingerprint sensor and a 3,300mAh battery.
