Cloud-based Music Unlimited Service App Extends Availability to the Apple App Store

Sony today announced the Music Unlimited service app for the iPhone/iPod touch.

With this free app, subscribers can access the service's global catalog of millions of tracks anytime, wherever they are. The iPhone and iPod touch are the newest additions to the existing ecosystem of Sony which already includes connected devices including the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, BRAVIA TVs, and Android tablets and smartphones like the Sony Xperia.

Upon download, consumers can discover artists and tracks, browse by genre, etc. They will also be able to listen to their music library, playlists and channels, easily adding songs to them, or search for related artists.

The Music Unlimited app will be available globally from the App Store this Fri, 25 May.
