Casio has announced that the new EX-ZR1000 from its High Speed Exilim line of digital cameras will be pre-launched at SITEX 2012.
Equipped with a 24mm wide-angle lens and 12.5x optical zoom, the camera inherits the quick shooting capabilities of every High Speed Exilim, and comes with a new HS Engine Version 3, which enables users to experience almost zero lag time. Also, Casio has incorporated other new tools not found in previous Exilim compact cameras. This EX-ZR1000 now includes a function ring, a control dial, and a 180-degree tilt-type LCD screen for better operability and superior shooting performance compared to previous models.
The third generation of the High Speed Exilim line incorporates the "Triple Zero" design concept, which eliminates time lag, blur, and camera shake. The camera offers high-speed shooting capability, with a start-up time of 0.99 seconds, a high-speed auto focus of 0.15 seconds, and shooting between frames in as little as 0.26 seconds. With a maximum light sensitivity level of ISO 25600, the High-Speed (HS) Night Shot feature ensures that users are able to take beautiful and crisp pictures even in low light conditions.
The Casio EX-ZR1000 will be available at SITEX 2012 at S$599, ahead of its nationwide launch. In celebration of Casio Exilim's 10th anniversary this year, Casio will be launching a Casio exclusive limited edition model at the show as well. Limited to 200 sets worldwide, this model comes with a genuine limited leather case and neck strap. There will only be 20 such sets available at the show.
Also available for purchase at SITEX is the EX-TR150, which is limited to only 80 sets per day.
