Carl Zeiss Introduces Premium Lens for E-mount and X-mount

First announced 31 January 2014, the Touit 2.8/50M joins the existing Touit 2.8/12 and 1.8/32 as lenses designed and constructed specifically for use on Sony NEX and Fujifilm X-series cameras with APS-C sensors. The 50M offers an effective focal length of 75mm on APS-C cameras, and is quite light at just 290g, making it also a great consideration for portraits.

The wide aperture of 2.8 produces wonderful creamy bokeh thanks to the almost circular aperture formed by ten aperture blades, and the lens features 14 elements in 11 groups in a Floating Elements design that works to correct aberrations and provide consistent performance across all apertures. Ideal for extreme close-ups, the 50M allows you to focus as close as 15cm, and offers a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:1.

Available worldwide by end April for US$999 (excl VAT) or approx. S$1,224 (without GST).
