Canon Launches Three imageCLASS Laser Printers for SMEs

Canon has launched three new imageCLASS laser printers for enterprises. The imageCLASS LBP7780Cx is a high-performance color laser printer which provides flexible printing capabilities and output, while the network-capable imageCLASS LBP7100Cn and the Wi-Fi enabled imageCLASS LBP7110Cw are mono-color laser printers which offer significant cost and energy savings while delivering consistently high-quality  business documents.

The imageCLASS LBP7780Cx maximises user productivity with a First Printout Time of just 10.4 sec and 10.2 sec for colour and mono print-outs respectively, and is capable of printing up to 32ppm with a maximum print resolution of up to 9600 x 9600dpi equivalent.

High quality printouts are assured with the Canon’s S-toner, which is a premier polymerized color toner that allows for production of clean lines and optimum gloss for business color documents. The imageCLASS LBP7780Cx also reads the print languages of PCL 5c/6 and Genuine Adobe PostScript Level 3. Postscript supports the high-quality printing of visually-rich documents and vector graphics, of particular demand in creative industries. Together with 768MB of device memory and true Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, the imageCLASS LBP7780Cx has been designed to thrive in demanding operating environments.

The LCP7100Cn and LBP7110Cw laser printers boast printing speed of up to 14ppm for both mono and colour A4-size documents, driven by the powerful Canon UFR II LT print language, a system which accelerates document processing while reducing the load on the printer’s memory.

Equipped with the Canon Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform (MEAP), the imageCLASS LBP7780Cx enables growing businesses to simplify office workflow and improve their efficiency. The device integrates seamlessly with Canon’s uniFLOW print management and accounting system, offering small businesses a similar level of flexibility, cost control and accountability in print processing and job accounting as larger enterprises.

With the addition of an optional Canon SD Card accessory, the imageCLASS LBP7780Cx offers corporate and SME users a low-cost, secure printing solution without the need to invest in servers and other software solution add-ons. Print jobs can be encrypted with a password just before printing, and only released from memory when users re-enter the password at the device.

In addition, the imageCLASS LBP7780Cx can print directly from USB flash memory, giving businesses an added convenience and flexibility to print PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and XPS files without the need to send the print jobs through the print driver.

With support for the industry-standard Wi-Fi Protected Setup push button configuration, the imageCLASS LBP7110Cw can easily be added into any secured wireless environment at the push of a button, allowing users to print from anywhere in their home or office.

With their neat appearance and quiet operation, the new laser printers blend seamlessly into most business environments, fitting in easily when space is limited.

The imageCLASS LBP7780Cx device’s 5-line LCD display provides great ease of use with animated graphics and automatic character scroll. The imageCLASS LBP7100Cn and the imageCLASS LBP7110Cw feature a user-friendly operation panel showcasing new functions such as the “Go” Indicator button for greater ease of use in managing the document printing processes.

Cost-conscious businesses will be glad to know that the new imageCLASS laser printer is certified with the Energy Star for its power efficiency.

The Canon and laser printers are available at authorised Canon dealers at the following prices:
