Buffalo announces the Buffalo MiniStation Air portable hard drive which wirelessly streams work files, documents, and playtime data like movies and music directly into a smartphone or tablet. Lasting up to 4 hours of enjoyment, the Buffalo MiniStation Air includes 500GB of storage space, and saves users the hassle of backing up data into a smart device, or being limited to the storage memory of the smart device.

Compatible with Android devices as well as Apple's iPhone and iPad, users can access movies and music on the go anytime while connected wirelessly to the hard drive. Also, it has the ability to connect to a wireless LAN network, allowing users to use the internet on their smart device while listening to music or browsing through saved pictures in the hard drive. This connectivity allows the MiniStation Air to be used as a mobile hotspot.

Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, the MiniStation Air (HDW-PU3) Portable HDD series will be available in stores April 2013 at S$199.
