Is blush gold the new rose gold for the 2017 iPhones?
Forget rose gold. Apple undecided on new iPhone 8 color; internet golds wild
Apple introduced the rose gold iPhone 6s in 2015 and the jet black iPhone 7 last year. This year, it is rumored to be introducing three special color options for the iPhone 8, one of which is a totally different shade of gold.
While some reports claim that the new color option is copper gold, tipster Benjamin Geskin (@VenyaGeSkin1) states otherwise. According to his source at Foxconn, the internal name of the iPhone 8 is called blush gold and it is likely to be available in 64/128GB storage options.
Considering how the jet black iPhone 7 is limited to 128GB and 256GB storage options, it is strange to see that the blush gold iPhone 8 will only come in 64GB and 128GB storage options. TrendForce and analyst Timothy Arcuri reported that the iPhone 8 comes in two storage options, 64GB and 256GB.
