BlackBerry Storm 3 Leaked with Images

Research in Motion is going full speed ahead in 2011 with quite a few rumored announcements. We've already heard about the BlackBerry Dakota, a touch screen device with a QWERTY keyboard modeled after the BlackBerry Bold. Later on, it was reported that the BlackBerry Torch gets a successor with a faster 1.2GHz processor. Coming full circle, the final device that has been leaked is touted as the BlackBerry Storm 3, a full touch screen device like its predcessors.

GSM Arena - The Storm 3 will feature a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with the highest resolution for a BlackBerry phone ever – 800x480 pixels. Still unknown is whether the Storm 3 will feature the SurePress display or not. From the leaked photos of the device it seems that it will feature the trackpad that RIM’s customers have been used to.

Similar to the BlackBerry Torch 2, the Storm 3 is reported to be armed with a 1.2GHz processor, and a 3.7-inch screen which will finally be at a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. 720p video recording is also thrown into the mix, and looking at the specifications, the Storm 3 will finally be a match to its smartphone contenders from the likes of Samsung and HTC. Now, all we need, is for RIM to confirm these sightings. Meanwhile, you can gleam more info about the new Storm 3 over here.
