Bixby Voice is now available in more than 200 countries

Samsung's voice assistant, Bixby Voice is finally available after nearly 6 months of delay

The South Korean company announced in a press release that Bixby Voice capabilities have expanded to more than 200 countries including Singapore, the U.K, Australia and Canada.

One of the key features of Bixby Voice is Quick Commands, which allows you to create a custom voice command to replace a series of actions. For example, "Good night" can act as a shortcut to "enable the Do-Not-Disturb mode", set an alarm at 7am and activate the blue light filter.

Bixby Voice currently supports only U.S English and Korean on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. There are plans to support more languages in more countries, and to roll out more features to a wider range of devices. The iterative deep learning technology will also improve Bixby Voice in recognising individual preferences and different ways of speaking.

Also announced at the Galaxy Note8 launch, Samsung has teased that Bixby will soon work with Spotify.
