Is this the battery for the Apple iPhone 6C?
We've heard plenty of rumors and reports on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, but there has been a lack of concrete evidence of a new 4-inch iPhone model until now.
French publication nowhereelse managed to obtain a photo of the alleged battery for the Apple iPhone 6C. The battery is listed with a capacity of 1,715mAh, which is slightly larger than the 1,510mAh battery of the iPhone 5C. The recently announced six-gen iPod Touch is ruled out as a teardown by iFixit reveals a 1,030mAh battery.
Could this be the first confirmed spec of the iPhone 6C? Analysts so far have released conflicting reports on the 4-inch iPhone model; analysts at Jefferies claimed earlier this month that a metal-clad iPhone 6C will be launched in Q1 2016 while Chinese publication Economic Daily News stated that the new 4-inch model is called the iPhone 7C.
KGI Securities shot down rumors of a new 4-inch iPhone model although numerous reports have uncovered rear covers of the iPhone 6C and highlighted the possibility of a new 4-inch model replacing the iPhone 5C.
Apple is rumored to be holding an event on 8th September to launch the new iPhones. Will we see the introduction of a new 4-inch iPhone?
