The ASUS ZenWatch will be available in Singapore come Christmas Time
The first time we saw ASUS' new ZenWatch was at IFA 2014 early last month in Berlin, Germany. It is the company's first smart watch, and in fact wearable device, and we just received word that it will be available later this year in December around Christmas Time. Additionally, the ZenWatch will be priced at S$299 - lower than its earlier reported Euro pricing of €199.
The ZenWatch runs on Google's Android Wear platform and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor that runs at 1.2GHz. It uses a 1.63-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a 9-axis sensor that helps with activity tracking. Finally, it has a IP55 water and dust resistant rating, which means it is slightly dust resistant and only splash resistant - don't take it swimming.
