Maintaining the Zenbook taper outline design and aluminum spun polish hallmark, its scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Full HD IPS display is coated with a sheer high gloss finish, and has been available for pre-order since 28 November. Another premium flagship Ultrabook model, the ASUS Zenbook UX301, which carries a WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) IPS display is also available for pre-ordering at all ASUS brand stores and authorized retailers.

The new 13.3-inch Zenbook provides wide 178-degree viewing angles, with the 10-point capacitive touch provides smooth and responsive fingertip control with the Windows 8 platform. Powered by Intel Haswell (4th gen) processors, the models house 2.5W speakers, and incorporate the exclusive ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, which generates deeper bass and clearer vocals than other bulkier standard notebooks.

Delivering up to eight hours of battery life, the Zenbook UX301 features a high-end 28W Core i7-4558U dual-core option and Intel Iris graphics 5100, while the Zenbook UX302 comes stocked with discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics with Optimus technology. In addition, the latter includes up to 750GB HDD and 16GB SSD of hybrid storage.

The ASUS Zenbook UX302 will hit local stores on 20 December for S$1,698 and S$1,998 for the i5 and i7 variants respectively, while the ASUS Zenbook UX301 will be retailing at S$2,798.
Both models are available in Sapphire Blue.
