ASUS Unveils Transformer Pad 300 with NVIDIA Tegra 3
Apart from the PadFone, ASUS has also launched the Transformer Pad 300 at MWC. Sporting a 10.1-inch touchscreen display (1280 x 800), the Transformer Pad 300 is a tablet that leverages on NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 platform with 1.2GHz CPU and runs Android 4.0. In terms of memory, the tablet comes with 1GB RAM and has ample 16GB built-in storage.
The Transformer Pad 300 shoots still photos and records videos with its 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f2.2 aperture. A 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera is also supplied and is meant for video calling. The tablet’s physical interfaces include a micro HDMI, microSD slot, and a 2-in-1 audio jack. Wireless connectivity options are Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G LTE.
With a 22Wh lithium polymer battery, the Transformer Pad 300 can stay on up to 10 hours. ASUS offers the Transformer Pad 300 with the optional keyboard-equipped mobile dock. Aside from that, it can turn the tablet into a laptop while being attached to it, extending its battery life to 15 hours.
