ASUS Shows Off Radical Turbo Charged ROG Tytan CG8890 Gaming Desktop (Updated with Video)

Meet the ASUS ROG Tytan CG8890, a seemingly 'tame' premium gaming desktop... ... that can transform to this overclocked beast! All this happens at a touch of a button.

That's right folks, this ultra premium gaming machine can physically transform itself upon hitting a one-click overclocking button dubbed Turbo Gear - without rebooting or having to do any of the messy steps or processes to get the most out of the PC's gear. But what does the ASUS ROG Tytan CG8890 come with in the first place? Here' the brief specs list to point out the most pertinent matters:-

  • Intel Core i7-3960X
  • 16GB DDR3-2133MHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690
  • 2TB 7200RPM HDD + 128GB SSD (RAID 0)
  • Integrated liquid cooling system

The top corner of the system has aTurbo Gear button to overclock the system in a jiffy and engages the 'beast' mode to pop the casing panels open and show off the cooling vents and fans for a more direct air intake.

To be exact, ASUS claims the system has hundreds of vents and ten powerful crimson fans that augment its internal liquid cooling.
