ASUS quietly unveiled three new ZenPads at Computex 2017

While most companies will splurge on promoting their latest tablets at launch, ASUS opted to remain silent on its three new ZenPads. 

Starting from the smallest, the ZenPad 3S 8.0 (Z582KL) has a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. It is available in two models: 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage space. and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage space.

The other two new tablets, the ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) and ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) are 10.1-inch tablets running Android 7.0 Nougat. The three main differences between the two models are the display resolution, processor's clock speed and battery life.

The ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) has a Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) IPS display, a MediaTek MT8735A quad-core 1.45GHz processor and a battery life of up to 10 hours while the ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) has a WXGA (1,280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, a MediaTek MT8735W quad-core 1.3GHz processor and a battery life of up to 13 hours. 

Both tablets come with 2MP front-facing and 5MP rear-facing cameras, USB Type-C ports, a microSD card slot, 2 front speakers with DTS HD Premium Sound, Sonic Master technology and 4G LTE support. They are available in the following configurations:

  • 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage space 
  • 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage space 
  • 3GB RAM/64GB internal storage space 

Aside from these specs listed in the respective product pages on the official site, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the tablets.
