ASUS’ Aura lighting can now be found on most of its latest products, including the ROG Strix X99 Gaming and GeForce GTX 1080. When we reviewed the former motherboard, we noted how lights could be synchronized across both the ASUS motherboard and GPU, but that’s apparently not all that we can expect from the Aura lighting feature in the future.

ASUS now tells us that additional features are on the way, including the ability to sync up with ROG keyboards and mice.

For now, users are able to group both motherboard and graphics card together and control them as a single lighting unit, or set them to display dynamic lighting effects that flow seamlessly across both components.

Supported products include all the new Intel X99 motherboards, like the Rampage V Edition 10, ROG Strix X99 Gaming, and the X99 Deluxe-II. The new cards from both camps – the GeForce GTX 1070, 1080, and Radeon RX 480 for instance – also feature Aura lighting and will work with the aforementioned boards.
