ASUS Launches its Zenbook and Eee Slate

ASUS unveils the Zenbook and expands its tablet range with the Eee Slate B121.

ASUS Zenbook

Equipped with an instant-on feature which resumes the system in 2 seconds and offers standby times of up to 2 weeks, it utilizes the USB Charger+ technology, making use of the powered USB 3.0 port to recharge portable devices faster than it would usually take.

When battery life is below 5%, the Zenbook automatically saves files to prevent loss of data. Other features include the Super Hybrid Engine II technology ensures intelligent conservation of energy, lengthening battery life significantly and SonicMaster technology, which offers a wide sonic spectrum surround sound.

ASUS Eee Slate B121

Targeted at business professionals, it offers features that are optimized for small businesses, point of sale usage, and more.

Featuring an Intel Core i5 processor, the Eee Slate B121 runs on Windows 7 Professional, offers built-in security of TPM technology, and comes with free unlimited ASUS WebStorage access for a year.

Its 12.1-inch, 1200 x 800 LED-backlit WXGA multi-touch display is damage-resistant and has a 178 degree viewing angle.

Pricing and availability

The Zenbook and Eee Slate are now available at the following prices (inclusive of GST):

Zenbook: ranges from S$1,398 to S$1,998 (options of 11.6inches and 13.3inches)
Eee Slate: S$1,699
