ASUS has just launched a new 13.3-inch Ultrabook called the ZenBook UX305. According to them, the ZenBook UX305 is the world's slimmest 13.3-inch Ultrabook, measuring just 12.3mm thick.

The reason it can be so thin is because it is powered by Intel's new low-power Core M processor, specifically the dual-core Core M-5Y10 which runs at 800MHz (4MB cache, and max turbo frequency of up to 2GHz). With a low TDP of just 4.5W, these new processors can be cooled passively, allowing manufacturers to design super-slim and light notebooks. The ZenBook UX305 weighs just 1.2kg.

Despite its slim dimensions, the ZenBook UX305 still features three USB 3.0 ports, and while it might not have a Ethernet port, ASUS has thoughtfully bundled USB Ethernet adapter with the notebook. Additionally, the 13.3-inch display sports a decent resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full-HD). It will also come with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. The ZenBook UX305 will be priced at S$999.
