Apple updates OS X Yosemite and iOS 8

Apple has just announced that it has released updates for both OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 - specifically OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and iOS 8.1.1.

Most crucially, the patch for OS X Yosemite will fix a nagging WiFi issue that has troubled some users, causing their connection to drop intermittently. The update also fixes mail sending issues with the Mail app.

As for iOS 8, the latest update is said to include bug fixes, but more importantly, offers performance improvements for older devices such as the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.

To update your devices, simply go the App Store on your Macs devices and Software Update on your iOS devices.
