Apple Unveils New and Cheaper iMac, Starts from S$1,488

If you have been eyeing the iMac for a while, Apple just gave you one good reason to buy it now!

The Cupertino-based company just introduced a new 21.5-inch iMac at just S$1,488. The new iMac is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 2.7 GHz, which is the same processor found in the base models of the 11 and 13-inch MacBook Airs. Other specs include Intel HD 5000 graphics, 8GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive.

Apple also updated its MacBook Airs with faster processors and lower prices on April 29. The 11-inch base model with 128GB of flash storage is available for S$1,188.
