If iMore's sources turn out to be accurate, Apple will be launching the next generation iPhone on 12th September alongside the iPad Mini. While the retail availability of the iPad Mini has not been confirmed, the iPhone 5 is said to hit retail shelves on 21st September. Apple is also expected to unveil the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch as well.
iMore claims that its sources have proven to be reliable in the past. Information provided by the sources go in line with what we've heard so far. The iPad Mini will be a smaller version of the current iPad with a 7.X-inch display. The iPhone 5 will be equipped with a slightly larger 4-inch screen, smaller dock connector, LTE capability and brings in a new SIM standard, the nano-SIM. iLab Factory recently released a series of photos that show a fully assembled iPhone which matches most of the rumored specs.
