Apple releases guide to help Android users make the switch
Apple has released a guide for Android users who are considering a switchover to the iOS platform. It offers some tips on moving content from Android phones over to iPhones.
The guide has documented steps for transferring mail, contacts, and calendars, photos and videos, music, documents, books and PDFs. However, some third party applications are suggested in order to get the job done properly. For data like mail, contacts, and calendars, Apple has suggested using Copy My Data; while for photos and videos, the company has suggested using Photo Sync. It isn't possible for an Android user to port his favorite applications directly onto an iPhone; hence, trawling the App Store in order to find its iOS equivalent is the only way.
