According to a report from CNET, Apple will dominate the ultra-portable notebook market this year, in the same way it has dominated the tablet market.
Leading the charge is the very sexy Apple MacBook Air, one of the best notebooks we've had a chance to test in our labs this year.
The MacBook Air represents good performance, high portability and cut-throat pricing, all in one package, which other manufacturers are having trouble keeping up with, even with Intel's promised (but still invisible) "ultrabooks".
Consumers already had the also very nice Samsung Series 9, but that machine costs almost $500 more than the highest specced MacBook Air, and doesn't offer much of a performance gain over the Sandy-Bridged Airs.
