Apple to open its first retail store in Singapore next year

This is the Apple Store at 767 5th Ave, New York.

After years of speculation, Apple is finally opening its first retail store in Singapore next year!

Pure Fitness sent out an email to its members earlier this evening which was posted by one of our forum members. In the email, Pure Fitness announced that the branch at Knightsbridge will cease operation on 15th December this year. Other tenants in the building are also returning their spaces to the landlord to make way for Apple's first retail store which is expected to be opened in 2016.

Pure Fitness - "We have been working with the landlord and other tenants of the building and, as part of these arrangements, Pure and other tenants will be handing back space to make way for the opening of a new Apple store in late 2016."

While Apple fans will cheer at this piece of good news, it remains to be seen how the opening of Apple's first retail store in Singapore will affect the various authorized resellers such as EpiCentre and Nubox.
