Apple MacBook Pros Updated with Intel Core i5 and i7 Processors

The Apple Store went down for a quick update it seems as new MacBook Pros are now available for sale. They will be shipping within 24 hours for the new 15-inch and 17-inch models that come with new Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The 13-inch models however remain unchanged and are still using Intel Core 2 Duo processors. That said, the entire line has just gotten a RAM bump with them all models now sporting a minimum of 4GB RAM.

The 13-inch models have also gotten a better integrated graphics processor from NVIDIA in the form of a NVIDIA GeForce 320M which probably is better than the prior NIVIDA GeForce 9400M. As for the 15-inch and 17-inch models, here's a guess at which processors they are probably using from Intel:

Intel Core i5 2.4GHz http://bit.ly/cYQWKs

Intel Core i52.53GHz http://bit.ly/95jYlY

Intel Core i7 2.66GHz : http://bit.ly/cB9vhS

Also note that none of these are quad core CPUs. So guess we won't be seeing quad core MacBook Pros for a while yet.

From the looks of it, the NVIDIA GeForce 330M is a upgrade to the older NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, so users will probably see some performance boosts.

And here's the link to the Apple Store for those who are ready to snap one up now!
