Just three days ago, the rumored sapphire display of the Apple iPhone 6 survived the stress tests of YouTuber Marques Brownlee and emerged unscathed. This time, a Chinese tester put the display panel through tougher ones that included some bending, twisting and dropping.

The testing began with some scratching by a coin, a key, a pen knife and a hammer, which the display panel survived with no scratches or cracks. The Chinese tester then decided to put it through more stressful tests such as hammering a nail on the display panel, dropping it from chest level, bending it and lighting a flame beneath it. Surprisingly, the display panel showed no signs of damages.

The final test involved running the display panel over with a vehicle. The sheer pressure finally shattered the display panel. Nonetheless, it is still more resistant than the conventional glass panels on current mobile devices.

Almost anything will break, crack or shatter if you run it over with a vehicle. The rumored sapphire display of the Apple iPhone 6 is no exception. <br> Image source: Steve Hemmerstoffer's YouTube
