We just got information from reliable sources that point to a possible launch of the next Apple iPhone (presumable iPhone 5) in Singapore around October 28th.
The time frame coincides with the CEO of France Telecom (parent company of Orange)'s claim that the iPhone 5 will be released on October 15th. If you recall, Singapore was one of the 17 countries to receive the iPhone 4 a month after it was released in the U.S, U.K, France, Germany and Japan on June 24, 2010. Considering these points, the possibility of an October end launch seems to hold some credibility at this point of time.
Note that at the point of publication, none of the telcos could be contacted for a comment (and we bet they can't anyway). Meanwhile, while we await for October end, we're keeping our fingers crossed that all the information we've heard is accurate and that it really comes to pass. Stay tuned for more updates as we try to wrangle out more information in time to come.
