Even though Apple hasn't unveiled the new iPhones yet, there are rumors that the company has started the development of next year's iPhones.

Industry sources told The Investor and ETNews that Apple plans to launch two OLED iPhones next year which include a 5.85-inch model and a 6.46-inch model. Previously, Apple was reportedly considering a 5.28-inch model. However, consumer demand for bigger displays and technical issues related to a full-screen display made Apple ditch plans for the 5.28-inch model.

Two of the three upcoming iPhones this year will use LCD panels. The entire iPhone lineup is expected to use OLED by 2019.
