Forget about those iPad 3 rumors (which, by the way, still sounds pretty far-fetched to us). Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital has just reported that an Apple event will be held on the 2nd of March. While no confirmed news have been released, their money is on the announcement of the iPad 2, despite rumored production delays due to the tablet's new design.
All Things Digital - To those who care intensely about this kind of stuff–which would be pretty much everyone in the tech ecosystem–Apple will hold its much-anticipated event on March 2, where the tech giant seems poised to unveil a new version of its hugely successful iPad, according to multiple sources.
Front-facing camera, a faster dual-core processor and more RAM are just more of the speculation that has been thrown out in the wild with regards to the new iPad. Hopefully, if the March 2nd event is what we think it is, all those rumors will either be confirmed or dismissed, and we'll be looking at a brand new and improved iPad 2.
