Apple may be addressing one of the biggest complaints about the iPhone 6 models later this year - its 16GB base storage option.

According to MIC Gadget, anonymous sources within Foxconn claim that the packaging for Apple's upcoming iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus do not have stickers with "16GB capacity". Instead, they will have 32, 64 and 128GB stickers. This contradicts the 9to5Mac report earlier this month that a prototype iPhone logic board still shows a 16GB flash memory chip

The iPhone maker came under heavy criticism after it was revealed that iOS 8 takes up to 5.7GB of storage space which means that users of 16GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models have less usable storage space. With no memory card slot and Samsung moving to 32GB as the base model for its flagship devices, we are crossing our fingers that Apple will follow suit.
