Angry Birds Tournament Held 10,000M In The Air

Finnair's first foray into pro-gaming (sort of) launches today with its Angry Birds Asian Challenge held aboard Finnair flight AY081 from Helsinki to Singapore.

Finland really likes Angry Birds - like, a lot. So much so that national airline carrier, Finnair has set up a custom airplane to host the world's first mile high (technically 10,000 metres high) Angry Birds tournament. Flight AY081 departs from Helsinki today and will land in Singapore sometime in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

On board will be six regional finalists, Bryan and John from Malaysia, Katja from USA, Viktor from UK, and Shirley and Karen from Singapore who will be competing against each other for the duration of the 11hr 30min flight to be crowned as the prestigious Angry Birds Asian Challenge Winner.
