Android Market Revamped and Adds Paid Apps Support to More Countries

Google's expansion plan into the mobile arena hasn't been slowing down. With its recent report card showing over 200,000 apps on its Android Market, it's apparent that developers are flocking towards the Google platform. To up the ante, paid apps have been made available for more countries, and to follow up with that, a revamped Google Market interface has also appeared right after Google I/O 2011.

GSM Arena - The Android Market has gone through a major update after Google I/O conference. Google has done some refreshing design changes to the interface of the Market for both mobile and desktop and made discovering of new apps easier. On top of that paid apps are now available to 99 new countries, which is a win-win for everyone.

While the newly revamped interface might have taken a cue from Apple's App Store, there's no denying that it makes it easier to find popular apps, or reward developers with a featured space if their apps are doing well. This new interface is a definite enhancement to Google's existing ease of installing apps, either from the device or having it pushed to your phone from the Android Market on your browser.
