The next iteration of Google Android operating system should be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and not Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
According to PhoneArena, the unofficial confirmation comes from LG's product page which states one of its smartphones, the Optimus L7 II Dual as running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The current Android version is 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Google is alleged to delay the release of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie by a few months as it wants to give OEMs some breathing room as they are trying to update their catalog of phones to the current Android version. As such, it is believed that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is developed as a stop-gap measure.
